Greg Morfitt was presented his QOV in August 10th. Greg served in the US Army from 1969-1970 as a gunman with the 23rd Infantry Division. He received the Bronze medal, Purple Heart and 2 commendations

Quilts of Valor presented to David Leinke and Charles Meyer in Waldorf, MN on August 22, 2026. David Leinke served in the US Navy from 1961 - 1964. Charles Meyer served in the US Army from 1969 - 1971.

Beth Birch and Anna Goedke and their lefse sticks ready to create delicious lefse for the Auxiliary Bake /Lefse sale Nov 24th - 25th at the legion.
On July 19th, 2026, Paulette Anderson and Carrie Schmitz presented a $1000 donation to the Board members of the North Star Honor Flight.

Junior Auxiliary 250th USA Birthday Rocks
250 rocks were painted by Post 56 Junior Auxiliary. They will distributed over the next month through out the communities of Albert Lea, Clarks Grove, Emmons, Alden, Stewartville, and Mankato.
The 1st 30 people who bring the rock to Albert Lea Legion will receive a 250 USA Birthday refrigerator magnet. Good luck hunting! Let's celebrate the USA 250th birthday
