On Feb 20th, 2026, the Moose organization donated $1000 towards the Quilts of Valor.

On Feb 28th 2026, The Legion Auxiliary presented a donation to Post 56. Presenting the check was Paulette Anderson-Secretary, Theresa Anderson-Executive Committee, Jean Enstad-Treasurer, Ole Olson Post Commander, Sandy Norby-Executive Committee, Anna Goedke-auxiliary member, and Carrie Schmitz-Chaplain.
Junior Auxiliary 250th USA Birthday Rocks
250 rocks were painted by Post 56 Junior Auxiliary. They will distributed over the next month through out the communities of Albert Lea, Clarks Grove, Emmons, Alden, Stewartville, and Mankato.
The 1st 30 people who bring the rock to Albert Lea Legion will receive a 250 USA Birthday refrigerator magnet. Good luck hunting! Let's celebrate the USA 250th birthday
