April 25, 2025 the American Legion Auxiliary presented the following veterans their quilts. (L to R) Russell Heys, Alfred Jensen, William Koza, Judith Olson, and Dennis Sorenson.
Veterans received their Quilts of Valor on January 17, 2025 at the Post 56 from the Auxiliary ladies. Receiving the quilts were: Dale Yost, Delmar Schnoor, Steven Olson, Paul Henschel, Richard Dohmeier, and Frederick Ashling.

Albert Lea Auxiliary Post 56 President Beth BIrch presented a donation to the Preston Veteran Nursing Home on May 25th. Accepting the donation is Gabby Kenniberg, Preston Nursing Home Public Relations and Volunteer Coordination and staff.
